recently completed our new home. To say we are impressed is an understatement!
From our first meeting with Stephen, our needs and wants were listened to and
incorporated into the custom design along with clever and practical ideas that
Stephen was able to suggest. They have a talented team including an interior
designer who saved us countless hours when designing key areas such as our
kitchen and bathrooms. Their trades are impressive which leads to the high
quality finish they have delivered, from Built to Desire Kitchen and Cabinetry
to the others involved allowed our home to come together quickly, in fact even
with the Covid-19 construction shutdown, Hume delivered our home well inside of
the contract time and well ahead of what we have seen from other custom home
builders.
Throughout the
process and especially in the construction shutdown, Hume building were always
available and communicated regularly, this has been greatly appreciated. Hume’s
standard inclusions are second to none (such as the 900mm Smeg Oven, high end
quality tile, carpet allowances, painting, frame and electrical allowances to
name a few) combined with build time, their homes are great value as well as
top quality. Mario has been a great help throughout, always answering our
questions, no matter how small and has simply been available whenever we
needed. Brodie, Stephen and Jess have all been great as well and most
importantly, Hume’s after sales service has been excellent. We would choose to
build again with Hume and highly recommend Hume and their team to anyone
considering building.

“Hume building built our house in 2015, we started our design process in March and began to build in July.
Our house design is the Sunraysia 292 and was the first one of this design to be built, Stephen listened to our wants and needs and designed a home perfect for us, not just for now but to suit us for years to come.
As our house was the first of this design we were nervous to build a house off the plan but Stephen took us to various houses Hume Building had built to show us their work and we knew our house would be exactly what we had imagined, it turned out to be even better.
Stephen was always happy to answer questions and provide details on what was happening with the build.
The build itself too about five months and was stress free.
